The google maps Tracker has been synchronized with the XML file, and is using a multi-tab system for event and media information. There seems to be a discrepancy between the way IE and Firefox parse XML, as the current XML call only works in IE. I have an alternate code that works in firefox, but haven't discovered a happy medium.

The google maps Tracker is now up and currently being modified. I've obtained the API key, and have plotted custom points by importing information from an XML file with the candidates tour schedule. Green Icons show that an event will be occuring at that location within the month, while a red icon shows where the candidate has already spoken. As this module progresses, the red icons will also feature links to pictures/podcasts from that speaking event. Lastly, a link to directions for that address was also added for anyone wishing to attend the events.

The official website for my directed study in web design for ART 579 has been launched. This site will be updated with my goals, current progress, additions and any other information pertaining to the project.
The actual project site has not been uploaded, but will be located at http://vote.slkmedia.com once the site is launched.
